Wildlife along Lake Okeechobee 1

Hello!

Lake Okeechobee or “Big Waters” in Seminole language is not just rich in history but also in wildlife.

Cool facts …Double-crested Cormorant is only visible on adults during breeding season. The crests are white in cormorants from Alaska, and black in other regions. The oldest known Double-crested Cormorant was at least 22 years, 6 months old. http://www.allaboutbirds.com_MG_1201_MG_1188
